Rafting - Western State College Camps

Three Rivers Outfitting is looking forward to working with the Western State College (WSC) camps again this season, and providing a great rafting experience on the Upper Taylor or Gunnison River. This year, each trip includes the 3% Forest Service User Fee, and on the Taylor trip, one free photo CD. Additionally, two coaches per 15 kids will raft for free. Please call now (641-1303) to book your trips for this summer. The raft trip descriptions and prices are as follows:

Upper Taylor
Class 3+ whitewater paddle trip. You will get wet. Price includes booties, wetsuit and/or splash jacket and pants, round-trip shuttle from Three Rivers Resort to the river.

Gunnison
This is a scenic float trip but you will still get wet with some splashes and water fights. You can choose to paddle or have the guide row you down the river. Please specify your preference at the time of the reservation.

Optional Add-Ons

• Souvenir t-shirt with team/group picture ironed on = $12/t-shirt

• Transportation from WSC to Three Rivers Resort = Call for quote

All rafters should wear shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes and warm clothes for after getting off the river. Denim clothing is not allowed. Signed waivers are required for every participant. A parent/guardian must sign for those under 18 years of age. These may be downloaded here and sent out to participants in advance, or we can provide you with copies. Also, if each coach could make their group payments in the form of one sum, that would make your check-in procedures quicker and easier. Some of the camps can go through WSC coaches to book, and for those camps that don't, you can book through us directly. Custom trips to meet different camp schedules and financial means can be arranged.

Responsibility and Liability: River rafting, kayaking and fishing are adventure sports that involve risk. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged articles or personal injury. We are fully bonded insured and licensed but you participate at your own risk and must sign a waiver of liability. You may download this waiver and bring it with you for your trip.
